1975 Saltillo Field Camp Photos

The infamous 20 mile strip map project. We had two days to cover the distance so everyone stayed near the road. I don't believe anyone mapped the thrust fault that was about a mile off the road. The only people I can identify in this picture are: David Metzger (nearest the camera), Guillermo Ramirez and Terry Rayno Twyman (standing - red shirt).
Guillermo (right) and some one I don't recognize admiring the local vegetation. (Most lechugua comments were unprintable.) The buildings in the background may be the chicken processing plant that was in one of our field areas. Staying upwind of it was important.
The best for last... Our leaders - Dr. Weidie and Dr. Snowdon.
